Top Billing attends the wedding of Tumelo Mokoena and Bheki Masango
Work colleagues Tumelo Noxolo and Bheki Masango spent six years circling around their feelings for one other until finally, one of them spoke. They made up for lost time with an incredible relationship, and a dream wedding!
This was part two of the celebrations, after the traditional ceremony welcomed the Pedi bride into the groom’s Ndebele clan.
Born in the garden province of Mpumalanga, Tumelo grew up with a love for the outdoors and became a scientist in the paper industry, using forests as a renewable resource. Her wedding reflected a feeling and passion for nature, and she specifically chose a May wedding to accommodate all the warm colours of Autumn foliage.
With some help from celebrity wedding and events planner Zavion Kotze, her décor beautifully pulled off the theme of “Royal Affair”. The stunning rich colours and chic black tables worked beautifully with the flowers, some even flown in from France, and the extremely fashionable naked light bulbs.
As for the cake, it had the kind of detail you’d expect to find on royal Dalton china, and the beaded princess wedding gown chosen by the bride left chemical engineer Bheki speechless.
It was a dream wedding for a loving couple, who couldn’t be happier that they finally took the leap from friends to more!
