As Miss SA 2015 Liesl Laurie gets set to make a mark after her reign, she finds inspiration in toasting fifty years of a real South African classic – Appletiser. 
 

Join Chris as he visits orchards of Applethwaite Farm in Elgin were the proudly South African story of Appletiser was born.

As well as being the heart and soul of the drink, Elgin's apples are the latest subject of Chef Matt Manning's famous style of cooking – where a full series of dishes are based around 1 star ingredient.
