Top Billing embarks on an incredible cruise!
We got to experience an amazing cruise on a luxury liner courtesy of Cruises International, along with the lucky winners of our cruise competition!
The Allure of the Seas, a jewel in the crown of Royal Caribbean International, was built in the chilly shipyards of Finland - but destined to spend her days in warmer waters.
The 400m ship has sports facilities, jacuzzis, pools, helicopter pads, spas, a theatre and a running track, to name just a few.
Accommodating 5492 guests, the ship still feels incredibly spacious, and is the third largest in the world!
The sheer magnitude of the ship and its guest list was made clear when Executive Chef Stephan Jondeau let us know he prepares around 40,000 meals a day.
The liner has endless possibilities for fun activities, including shopping and amazing restaurants like the New York City pizzeria Sorrento's. One of the nost beautiful features is the Central Park-inspired green belt that runs through a portion of the ship.
The ship is set apart from others with its amazing innovation with cruise technology. According to Cruise Director Mitch Merucci, it is always thinking forward about how to give guests the best possible time. They are the first to have sky diving, a royal promenade, rock climbing and ice skating at sea to name just a few of the incredible features. There is something for everyone!
As for Jonathan and Ayanda, they enjoyed everything from the on deck ziplining to the wave machine, and enjoyed an amazing stage production of Mamma Mia!
When the journey is this good, the destination has a lot to live up to!
