Woolworths brings Beyonce’s own glam squad of stylist Ty Hunter and makeup artist Sir John to South Africa and we bring you all the highlights.
Woolworths is always at the forefront of a trend so when they host a style experience you can bet they go big. We were lucky enough to crack the nod to their most recent event that played host to Ty Hunter and Sir John, the stylist and makeup maestro that head up none other than Beyonce’s glamsquad!
Ty Hunter and Sir John gifted a once in a lifetime Mother’s Day experience to 8 very lucky Woolworths customers. These deserving moms were nominated by their children and were gifted makeovers of sheer dynamite!
Two masterclasses were also created for some of Woolies’ most loyal customers where they got the chance got to ask the Glam Squad all their burning style and beauty questions, in between champagne, canapes and some VIP shopping.
We all know she’s fabulous but Beyonce doesn’t just wake up ready to reign. A big thank you to Woolworths for letting us know that, with the right style pointers and a few make-up tricks, we can all embrace our inner Sasha Fierce!
Woolies sat down with Sir John and Ty Hunter to find out their top tips and hacks for the season ahead:
Ty Hunter, what’s your fashion hero piece this season? TY: Faux fur is everything; every woman needs one in a pop of colour this winter.
Ty Hunter, which AW18 trend do you think has the most mileage? TY: I don't really follow trends. However, I think a woman always needs a black suit. You can play it up and down, or break it apart by wearing the blazer with a t-shirt and the perfect jean.
