Top Billing attends the Men's Health Menswear Collection event
Summer is around the corner and Men’s Health and Woolworths have your ultimate guide to dressing for the season!
We got to attend the incredibe Men's Health Menswear Collection event which featured sizzling new collections from Woolworths, including David Jones, Edition, Studio. W, and Country Road. Add The Longmarket Barber for grooming and you have everything you need for some killer summer style.
The event itself was a hotly anticipated evening for men's fashion and according to Azeez Jacobs, Men's Health fashion and grooming editor, celebrated menswear in South Africa.
Kelvin Southwood, Woolworths' art director, says one of the key elements for the event was interaction, and the stunning venue had an arcade, barbers and a very popular selfie space! On hand as the official groomers for the evening were Longmarket Barber, and there was not a single hair out of place!
Another incredible highlight was the inclusion of women on the runway and in the David Jones collection, which according to Unisha Singh, senior marketing manager: fashion and beauty Woolworths, worked well with the brand as suiting and linen are key trends for this season.
The fashion itself was impeccable, and the diversity of the different ranges only reinforces that Woolworths is a brand that everyone can rely on. Ibraheem Adams, senior designer of menswear at Woolworths, says the different brands are able to cover all of the trends for the season, from the prints, patterns and colours of Edition, to the timelesness of David Jones.
With the impeccable styling and diversity of the Woolworths brand there's a look for every man! Overall the event, and more importantly the clothing, were a massive hit, and high profile guests like David Tlale and Katleho Sinivasan had nothing but praise.
