Top Billing attends the gender reveal part of celeb couple Tol Ass Mo and Mome Mahlangu
When you’re reality TV’s coolest celebrity couple and you’ve got exciting baby news to share, you’ve got to do it in style! Comedian Tol Ass Mo and his designer wife Mome Nale Mahlangu invited us to their baby’s gender reveal and it was definitely one for the books.
Though a baby launch was pretty new to most of the guests, when the Mahlangus invite you to a party, good times are a given and you don’t ask questions. The big idea was mystery and gender friendly décor set the scene for an incredible day filled with friends and family.
These two have already had to perfect the balance between family and work as they both have incredibly busy and successful careers. Mome is working on her spring collection, their production company recently launched a series of comedy nights, and Mo is recording another season of his tv prank show. So to ease the schedule of the two parents, this event was up to Mickey Matshediso and Noluthando Nqayi.
The highlight of the incredible day was definitely hearing the news that the baby was a girl. While they couldn’t wait to welcome their new bundle of joy, Mom and dad had set aside some cool family time for a safari cruise on Hartebeespoort Dam (which Harmony was lucky to join) before her arrival. They grab these chances anytime they can, in between Mo’s new radio work with DJ Sbu and his current, one man stand up comedy tour.
While on the trip he got to learn more about the family’s other children, son TK and 4-year-old daughter Khumo who is a celebrity in her own right. Khumo is a social media star and has her own range of creams and balms for children. Since the time of our interview, baby TeAmo Tshepahalo Oluhleuthando Mahlangu was born on the 09 October 2018 completing the family and making for two very happy parents.
