Guest presenter Roxy visits the town of Dullstroom, almost as famous for its milktart pancakes as for the being one of the best fly fishing destination in the country!
A weekend getaway is never that far away in our beautiful South Africa and if you're in the northern tip you'll find the perfect holiday destination in Dullstroom. Just over three hours drive from Joburg, this 19th century town is defined by its love for fly fishing. The sport is the second fastest growing sport in the world and luckily for Roxy, expert John Thoabala is there to show her how it's done. After working up quite the appetite, Roxy heads over to Harrie's Pancakes where she is treated to a local favorite; a special recipe pancake with milktart custard and ice cream. The perfect ending to a sweet escape is of course a delicious and ice cold cocktail, which Roxy finds at the five star resort Walkerson Hotel.
