Stylist Tracy-Lee Rosslind shares her new ventures with Top Billing
To call Tracy-Lee Rosslind a stylist is like saying Beyonce is a singer. It’s factually correct but doesn’t begin to describe everything else they do, nor the impact they have on their industries.
The music videos which Tracy has styled have passed a hundred million views. She’s followed by Snoop Dogg and been liked by Rihanna and the designer of Beyonce’s Met Gala dress, and that’s not even including her business achievements!
Tracy started a successful modelling career at age nine, and while she had to live with bullying from jealous peers, it opened doors for her at a young age.
As for her love of fashion, Ms Rosslind says it came from her father’s career as a leather designer, and her parents’ love of local fashion growing up.
Tracy credits her styling success to her obsession with small details and originality, and she always wants herself and her clients to be ahead of the trend, not on trend.
This drive has led to several successful enterprises, and her synergy with friend and nail artist Marina De Mink has resulted in their new business together, a nail polish, gel polish and nail treatment line developed with Nigel Bennet.
Her goal for the venture was to create something that was unique both internationally and locally, and would create jobs and empower others.
Along with this proudly South African range, Tracy is also launching a new hair care line for natural hair, braids, dreadlocks and curly hair.
With her unique style and incredible entrepreneurial spirit, Tracy is a major innovator in the beauty and fashion worlds, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
