Top Billing speaks to wedding planner Precious Thamaga
Precious Thamaga talks to Top Billing about all things wedding
Wedding and event co-ordinator Precious Thamaga has established herself as one of the top planners in the industry, and she’s no stranger to Top Billing.
Having been involved with incredible weddings like that of Lebo Gunguzula and Lebohang Mokoena who were wed in Mauritius, along with entrepreneurial power couple Angela Qithi and Charlton Allan, her portfolio definitely stands out.
She wakes, sleeps and dreams weddings and events with celebrity names like Bonang Matheba, but it’s no surprise that she flourishes in this industry after years of experience in PR and corporate event management.
Precious has plenty of personal support to help with her amazing success, and works alongside her two siblings, Pearl Thamaga and Lesedi Thamaga.
Her biggest support however is her husband. By the time it came to her own traditional nuptials with menswear entrepreneur Sifiso Mazibuko, the bride had every aspect of their big day covered.
An ideal match for Precious, in business and personally, Sifiso is Managing and Creative Director of his own tailored menswear label. To his wife, he’s her pillar, number one fan and they aim to build an empire together.
They have impressive plans for expanding Precious Celebrations, andjust acquired a bridal magazine, while they are also planning her third annual master class titled ‘The Art of Planning’.
