More info about the couple: Love at first sight and the romantic journey that ended in a fairy tale wedding is how one would describe the marriage of Ashish and Sydal. The glamorous, classy & elegant wedding was graced by 420 guests that included many celebrities.
Ashish and Sydal were introduced by a mutual friend and it was definitely love at first sight for both of them. Ashish describes Sydal as beautiful, level headed, romantic and extremely 'hot'. It means very much to him that she was at his side being his support structure even before all his fame. Sydal keeps Ashish on his toes too, as she turns heads wherever she goes. Sydal says that besides his good looks, his sense of humour attracted her to him. He is very humble despite his amazing success and he treats every single person with utmost respect and dignity and she loves that about him.
He proposed to her over Christmas 2010 telephonically. He sent her gifts to Durban for her as he was working. He wrapped her ring in many boxes ranging from large to small. When she finally reached the ring….she screamed her “YES” before he even completed his proposal.
