 Ryle de Morny
As one of 2018's Presenter Search winners Ryle de Morny is one of the newer members on the team, but he's already establishing himself as an incredible presenter!
Born & bred in Cape Town, 29-year-old Ryle is an accomplished businessman, lifeguard & model. He holds the title of “The Fastest Man on Sand”, winning two gold medals at the world championships for beach sprinting.
With an unbridled passion for all things fitness, Ryle runs his own company which specialises in creating customized gym equipment for athletes from all facets of the sporting world and beyond.
Besides his own business, Ryle is also a champion lifeguard, who started lifesaving at the age of eight and has been performing weekend duties at the local lifesaving club for the past 20 years.
He will spearhead Team South Africa’s men’s sprint and flags challenge at the Lifesaving World Champions in Australia this November.
Joining Top Billing and working as a TV presenter is a dream come true for Ryle.
“It is absolutely surreal but at the same time, it almost feels as if a dream is starting to materialise. A part of me has wanted this ever since the days of rushing home after school to try and watch Pabi Moloi and the rest of the KTV gang on TV as a kid,” Ryle says.
